I guess that i waste hours to get the upgrade 5384

I download the Vista Beta 2 to install over Vista 5308.
I tried to upgrade-- failure that function has been disable.
I
guess that the only way to upgrade this machine is to re-install all my applications which I don't really want to do.

Yes, that is the correct thing to do - clean install, especially for beta software. Since unknown conflicts can happen from beta to beta installs that will make it difficult and likely impossible to diagnose problems. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

I guess that may be the case, but Microsoft should have disclosed this. I rather know the conflicts then not know tehm.
I guess that I won't be install 5384.
Also I don't have 50 gigs of space to place the files

The installation requires a minimum of 11.3 GBs free space, the OS takes up about 8 GBs free space. -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta "David Sherman" wrote in message
